Whether you have a knowledge, life skills, time, or fellowship to share, Mary’s Home has volunteer opportunities for everyone. We’ve broken them into multiple categories, so that you can find the best fit for you based on your schedule and availability. Regardless of how much time you have, we hope you’ll join our staff and clients, because our mission would not be possible without you!
Opportunities Posted on Sign-Up (As-needed basis):
Drive moms to mom support group at Columbia Pregnancy Center
Drive moms to appointments and grocery shopping
Childcare (during Bible study, mommy helper post-partum, appts. or job interviews, etc.)
Housekeeping needs (sorting donations, organizing garage, maintaining organization of baby toys & equipment, cleaning office & car) – can also help us with this when it is not posted on the sign up, any day/time)
Committed Opportunities
Prayer team
Community Life and Holiday Team:
One outing per month
Yearly retreat or mini-vacation
Holidays: e.g Easter egg coloring/hunt, Mother’s Day Party, July 4th cookout, All Saints Day, Friendsgiving, Nativity Story and Caroling
Baby Showers and birthdays (throughout the year)
Morning Devotions (held every Morning at 9:30, looking for volunteers to commit to at least one day a week, could stay afterwards to babysit during IDP Focus time)
Babysit one morning a week during IDP Focus time following Morning Devotion (10am-12pm, volunteer could prepare craft, story time, or other activity for the kids)
Active Momma (weekly exercise group)
Budget and financial planning with moms (weekly lessons from curriculum or monthly financial counseling)
Drive moms to church on Sunday
Relief staff (once we have volunteers trained and available for this, days/shifts will be posted on sign up or sent out via email for unplanned needs)

If you have filled out the form above and/or have scheduled a time to volunteer with Mary’s Home, please review and sign this volunteer packet. The agreement on the last page of the packet is electronically fillable, if you would prefer not to print it. Once you have read and signed it, please bring it with you when you volunteer or email us.
