This year, your gifts are propelling us toward our goal of implementing new, crucial components of our program: The She Matters Mental Health Program and the Resilient Families Initiative. Both of these additions will help our moms develop and maintain necessary life skills, healthy habits, foundations of support, and practical strategies for long-term success and self-sustainability. Additionally, you can help grow our Home Team, ensuring that Mary’s Home is equipped to welcome more families into our program, maintain their safety, and walk with them each and every day as they work to overcome their struggles.

Obtaining a driver’s license and reliable transportation is an integral step for our moms. Having a car gives them more opportunities to begin working outside of the home and find safe childcare.
One of our current clients, Mom T., has been diligently toward this goal. However, her car must meet specific standards in order to be accommodated for her specific needs. Luckily, a local car dealership has agreed to partner with us in supplying a discounted vehicle, and a nearby parish has generously pledged to cover the cost of her accommodations. Please join us in raising the remaining $1,200 needed to help her purchase her car and drive toward a bright future for herself and her toddler.
Any funds exceeding our fundraising goal will be set aside to help other moms obtain their driver’s license and a car.
