- Friendship: sharing time and conversation with our moms
- Parenting fellowship: sharing parenting experience/knowledge
- Encouragement: encouraging, tutoring, and helping moms work toward goals (GED, Driver’s education, college, etc.)

BY TEACHING A LIFE SKILL OR SHARING A HOBBY
- Maintaining a household
- Creating and maintaining a budget
- Cleaning and organizing
- Gardening
- Meal planning and preparation/nutrition
- Learning to use power tools
- Construction skills/how to put together furniture
- How to unclog a drain, use a fire extinguisher
- Any other skills/hobbies that you can share!

BY BEING PART OF THE EVENTS TEAM
- Plan: participate as part of the planning committee for silent auctions, open houses, etc.
- Outreach: help advertise to groups/organizations and gather sponsors
- Day of team: help with day-of event needs (name tags, set up, clean up, etc.)
- Greet: assist with sign-ins and greet attendees

If you have filled out the form above and/or have scheduled a time to volunteer with Mary’s Home, please review and sign this volunteer packet. The agreement on the last page of the packet is electronically fillable, if you would prefer not to print it. Once you have read and signed it, please bring it with you when you volunteer or email it to our Client Services Director, Sonia.
