Sr. Angelina Marie – Guest Speaker
The Sisters of Life is a contemplative / active religious community of women founded in 1991 by John Cardinal O’Connor for the protection and enhancement of the sacredness of every human life. Like all religious communities, we take the three traditional vows of poverty, chastity and obedience. We also are consecrated under a special, fourth vow to protect and enhance the sacredness of human life. Sr. Angelina Marie is a native of northeastern Ohio. Sister is the oldest of four children. After studying Spanish at the University of Pittsburgh, she served for two years as a missionary on college campuses with FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students). Sister entered the Sisters of Life in 2011, and she currently serves in the Visitation Mission to pregnant women in crisis in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
